heal.abstract The thermodynamic changes along the one-dimensional isentropic flow of dry steam, refrigerants R12, R22, ammonia and air are calculated for a wide range of stagnation conditions. The calculation is based on a simple numerical procedure which uses the thermodynamic data of the real gases mentioned above. The results are presented in the form of diagrams which serve similar purposes as the well known tables of the one-dimensional isentropic flow of ideal gases with constant isentropic exponent. en
