heal.abstract The radiation of an arbitrary Hertzian dipole placed at the centre of an anisotropic sphere is analyzed. Employing the Fourier analysis, the dyadic Green's function is computed in terms of the convenient spherical vector wave functions. The unknown reflected and scattered fields inside and outside the anisotropic sphere respectively are expressed by employing Fourier series and spherical vector wave functions series. en
