heal.abstract	Η συγκεκριμένη ερευνητική εργασία επικεντρώνεται στην μελέτη και τη διερεύνηση των παραδοσιακών και των σύγχρονων αντιλήψεων και τρόπων δόμησης με δύο φυσικά υλικά, τον πηλό και την πέτρα στα πλαίσια του δίπολου παράδοση - εξέλιξη. Αναπόσπαστο κομμάτι της μελέτης αποτελεί η κοινωνική προσέγγιση των δύο υλικών. Πιο συγκεκριμένα δίνεται βαρύτητα στην σχέση ανάμεσα στο υλικό και την κοινωνική τάξη την οποία εκπροσωπούσε στο παρελθόν, αλλά και σε τι βαθμό έχει διαιωνιστεί αυτή η σχέση μέχρι σήμερα. Η μελέτη των παραδοσιακών και σύγχρονων τρόπων δόμηση έγινε μέσω βιβλιογραφίας, συνεντεύξεων και επιτόπιας εμπειρίας πάνω στην δόμηση, με σκοπό την κατανόηση των βασικών αρχών που τις διέπουν. Η διερεύνηση βασίζεται σε χαρακτηριστικά παραδείγματα των τριών τελευταίων αιώνων από διάφορες περιοχές της Ελλάδας, που εκπροσωπούν το εύρος των κοινωνικών τάξεων, με τις οποίες συνδέονται τα δυο υλικά. Αλλά και παραδείγματα Αφρικανικών χωρών με στόχο την μελέτη του πηλού ως δομικό υλικό στα πλαίσια ενός ολοκλήρου οικισμού. Η τελευταία ενότητα αναφέρεται στην κατανόηση και στην αξιολόγηση αυτών των διαφοροποιήσεων στην σύγχρονη ελληνική πραγματικότητα, οι οποίες μπορούν πλέον να θεωρούνται δεδομένες, μετά την καθολική εφαρμογή των νέων τρόπων δόμησης (οπλισμένο σκυρόδεμα και τούβλα), τη σποραδική επάνοδο στη χρήση της πέτρας και την σπάνια πλέον εμφάνιση των ωμοπλίνθων.	el
heal.abstract	This research focuses on the study and investigation of traditional and modern concepts and ways of building with two natural materials, clay and stone in the context of the dipole tradition - evolution. An integral part of the study is the social approach of the two materials. More specifically, emphasis is given to the relationship between the material and the social status that it represented in the past, but also to what extent this relationship has been perpetuated until today. The study of traditional and modern ways of construction was done through literature, interviews and field experience on construction, in order to understand the basic principles that govern them. The research is based on typical examples of the last three centuries from different regions of Greece, which represent the range of social classes, with which the two materials are connected. But also examples of African countries with the aim of studying clay as a building materials in the context of an entire settlement. The last section refers to the understanding and evaluation of these differences in modern Greek reality, which can now be taken for granted, after the universal application of new building methods (reinforced concrete and bricks,) the sporadic return to the use of stone and the rare longer appearance of the bricks.	en
