heal.abstract	Η παρούσα ερευνητική εργασία πραγµατεύεται την έννοια της φωλιάς στην αρχιτεκτονική. Με βάση την µελέτη της αληθινής φωλιάς των πουλιών γίνεται προσπάθεια για την αναγωγή της έννοιας στην αρχιτεκτονική. Με απασχολεί ιδιαίτερα η φωλιά των πουλιών καθώς αποτελεί την πρώτη και βασική αναφορά, όταν χρησιµοποιούµε τον όρο “φωλιά”. Η παροµοίωση ενός οικείου χώρου µε φωλιά και η συχνή αναφορά της «φωλιάς» -ως ένα «κέντρο», µια «αγκαλιά», µια «γωνιά», έναν «οικείο χώρο»- στην αρχιτεκτονική εν γένει, µε έστρεψε στην έρευνα της αληθινής φωλιάς µέσα από την επιστηµονική σκοπιά της κατασκευής και της ζωολογίας, αλλά και την σκοπιά της φιλοσοφίας. Με βάση την φιλοσοφική ανάλυση του G. Bachelard για την φωλιά των πουλιών, αναλύεται η φωλιά ως αρχέτυπο του κατοικείν, ως κατασκευή και ως σχήµα. Η αρχιτεκτονική σκοπιά του J. Pallasmaa και του Σ. Κονταράτου για το αρχέτυπο του κατοικείν και το σχήµα -αντίστοιχα- και η ανθρωπολογική και ζωολογική σκοπιά των Ingold και Hansell για την κατασκευή επιβεβαιώνει την φιλοσοφική θεωρία του Bachelard. Από εκεί και πέρα, η θεωρία του Heidegger για το κατοικείν και το κτίζειν βρίσκεται να γεφυρώσει την φωλιά µε την αρχιτεκτονική, αφού και τα δύο καλύπτουν την µέγιστη ανάγκη -πουλιού κι ανθρώπου- για κατοικείν. Σκοπός είναι πρακτικά να εντοπίσω τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά µιας αληθινής φωλιάς, τα οποία συντάσσουν έναν χώρο-φωλιά, σύµφωνα µε την κατασκευή και την λειτουργία, τις αναλογίες και τις ανάγκες του σώµατος. Για να γίνει, όµως, αυτό θα ήταν χρήσιµο να χρησιµοποιήσω ένα αρχιτεκτονικό έργο ως παράδειγµα «αρχιτεκτονηµένης φωλιάς», να προβάλλω δηλαδή τα χαρακτηριστικά της φωλιάς και τις έννοιες που διερευνώ στην αρχιτεκτονική πράξη. Συµπερασµατικά επιχειρώ να διαπραγµατευτώ την έννοια της φωλιάς στον αρχιτεκτονηµένο χώρο.	el
heal.abstract	This research paper deals with the concept of the nest in architecture. Based on the study of the real birds' nest, an attempt is made to reduce the concept to architecture. I am particularly concerned with the bird's nest as it is the first and basic reference when we use the term “nest”. The simile of a familiar space with a nest and the frequent reference to the “nest” -as a “centre”, a “cuddle”, a “corner”, a “familiar space”- general in architecture, turned me to the investigation of the true nest from the scientific point of view of construction and zoology, but also from the point of view of philosophy. Based on G. Bachelard's philosophical analysis of the bird's nest, the nest is analysed as an archetype of habitation, as a construction and as a shape. J. Pallasmaa's and S. Kontaratos' architectural perspective on the archetype of habitation and the shape, and Ingold and Hansell's anthropological and zoological perspective on the construction confirm Bachelard's philosophical theory. Beyond that, Heidegger's theory of dwelling and building stands to bridge the nest with architecture, since both meet the greatest need -of bird and human- for dwelling. The aim is practically to identify the basic characteristics of a true nest, which compose a nest-space, according to construction and function, proportions and needs of the body. To do this, however, it would be useful to use an architectural project as an example of an “architectural nest”, i.e. to project the characteristics of the nest and the concepts I am exploring into architectural practice. In conclusion, I attempt to negotiate the concept of the nest in the architecturalized space.	en
