heal.abstract	Στην παρούσα εργασία θα αποδείξουμε την αρχή του Gibbs για κατανομές με πεπερασμένες εκθετικές ροπές, καθώς και το ανάλογο της αρχής του Gibbs για κατανομές των οποίων οι εκθετικές ροπές δεν ορίζονται (κατανομές με βαριές ουρές). Τέλος, θα παρουσιάσουμε μια εφαρμογή της Αρχής του Gibbs για τη μελέτη μεγάλων απωλειών χαρτοφυλακίου.	el
heal.abstract	In the present thesis, we will prove the Gibbs Conditioning Principle for distributions with finite exponential moments, as well as the corresponding principle for distributions whose exponential moments are not defined (heavy-tailed distributions). Finally, we will present an application of the Gibbs Conditioning Principle for studying large portfolio losses.	en
