heal.abstract This thesis focuses on the hydrodynamic optimization of the hull of an ILC 30 sailing yacht with the objective of minimizing wave resistance. The process integrates parametric modeling and potential flow simulations within an automated design loop. Using specialized software tools, a series of hull variations were generated and evaluated, leading to optimized geometries with improved performance compared to the original design. The study demonstrates how modern computational tools can effectively support hull refinement during the early design stages, providing insights into the relationship between geometry and resistance characteristics. en
