The method developed by Papageorgiou and Raptis for computing the eigenvalues is now applied to scattering problems. In particular a new approach is developed for the computation of the phase shifts of the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation. The algorithm is very simple to code and very efficient for computational purposes. The method is also general and can be applied to any kind of potential functions (Coulomb-type etc.). © 1990. |
