heal.abstract |
Experimental investigations are presented on the 540.1 nm Ne laser line, excited directly by a sliding discharge. Laser action is a result of the Ne transitions 2p1 → 1s4 producing relatively intense laser light. The design characteristics of this novel Ne laser and the performance parameters are given and ideas for further improvement of the laser action are discussed. © 1993. |
