heal.abstract A constitutive framework for large elastoplastic deformations is briefly presented, along the lines of Mandel's theory, in a form most appropriate for computational convenience. A general purpose stress-point algorithm is adapted to the present large deformation framework. An accuracy analysis is carried out and the performances of several variants are compared, particularly those related to the anisotropic intensity and plastic spin in reference to two specific anisotropic models. The effect of elastic deformations on the overall response is demonstrated for special loading paths. © 1993. en
