An optimized multigrid method (EUFLEX-MG) for the EUFLEX code of MBB is described. The method is based on correction scheme and implicit relaxation procedures and is applied to the two dimensional case. The performance of EUFLEX-MG is demonstrated for subsonic and supersonic flow over a RAE-2822 airfoil and over a NACA-0012 airfoil for a large range of Mach numbers. © 1993 Springer-Verlag. |
