A study was performed of electrodeposited zinc coatings on aluminium. The thickness and surface roughness of zinc coatings were found to increase with increasing electrodeposition time. The structural analysis of zinc coatings showed the presence of zinc and other phases, between zinc and elements from the electrodeposition solution. The corrosion of zinc-coated aluminium was observed to be lower than that of bare aluminium. © 1994. |
