heal.abstract |
A simple method for the prediction of the normal boiling point temperatures of medium/high molecular weight compounds is presented requiring as input information the molecular weight and density (at 20°C) only. Excellent results are obtained with an overall average error of 1.7% for the 126 compounds considered. Even if the density is not available, predicted values from a group contribution method can be used. © 1995 American Chemical Society. |
