In this study, an attempt is made to reinforce a poly(hydroxyethyl acrylate) (PHEA) network with a dispersion of Nylon particles in the scale of nanometers. The resulting material is called a nanocomposite. Various ways in which different degrees of such reinforcement affect the dielectrical properties of the hydrogels swollen with different amounts of water are highlighted. The states of water in these systems are determined through dielectrical measurements. |
