The national electric utility of Greece has recently installed and put in operation a modern Energy Management System (EMS), This paper presents the evolution of the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system of the EMS during its two years of commercial operation. It classifies all the improvements implemented during this period in 3 areas: telecommunications, man-machine interface and core SCADA functions. |
