A converse Lyapunov theorem for analyzing global exponential robust stability of time-varying control systems was presented. An analogous notion of input-to-state stability, non-uniform in time, was characterized in terms of Lyapunov functions. The theorem was based on the backstepping analysis used for the feedback stabilization problems for autonomous systems. |
