Analytical and asymptotic expressions of the rain attenuation power spectrum based on rainfall rate time series are presented. They are directly applicable to rain fade mitigation techniques for satellite links using frequencies above 10 GHz. A spatio-temporal structure of the autocovariance relation of rainfall rate is also introduced. |
