heal.abstract The importance of adaptive algorithm for multimedia content modeling is discussed. The relevance-feedback method is considered as an effective mechanism for helping in the process of tailoring the responses of a multimedia system to user preference and sujectivity. The method is originated from text-based information retrieval systems. An optimal and computationally efficient weight-updating strategy, using the cross-correlation criterion, is suggested for the multimedia content personalization. en
