A new photoconductive organic material, belonging to the group of small-molecule semiconductors, was prepared by one-pot stage synthesis. Chemical structure was identified by H-1 and C-13 NMR techniques, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Photoresponse measurements, taken from a photoclectrochernical (PEC) cell, showed the strong photoconductivity of the material when illuminated. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V All rights reserved. |
