heal.abstract	The commonalities between science and fine arts can be epitomized as imagination, critical judgment and esthetics. Chemistry at the interface of history, art and archaeology is an interesting meld of disciplines that can help to solve old questions about archaeological articrafts and art works. Art is used to make learning chemistry interesting and effective. The chemistry of art is the chemistry behind painting materials, mainly the chemistry of colorants. The close relationship between art and chemistry is still obvious to the artist and to the chemist. The connection of the properties of substances, the preparation of substances in the school chemistry laboratory and the applications of substances in everyday life create excellent conditions of learning.	en
