In this paper, we address the issue of preserving user privacy in Location Based Services provisioning. This issue includes two controversial requirements, namely the protection of user's location privacy, and the Location Based Services QoS. In this context, we propose a framework that implements a nonirreversible algorithm, meaning that we cannot discover user's exact position based on provided services. The proposed algorithm has been implemented and integrated in a mobile services framework based on Microsoft's Virtual Earth platform. |
