The paper presents a methodology for determination of iron losses in laminated iron cores under sinusoidal excitation for various frequencies. The model tuning is performed by using the measured hysteresis loop in iron laminations for 50 Hz sinusoidal excitation by using an Epstein device. Dynamic effects at higher frequency sinusoidal excitation are considered. © 2006 IEEE. |
