heal.abstract In this paper we study the long time behavior of solutions for the following system of Klein-Gordon-Schrodinger type i psi(t) +kappa psi(xx) + i alpha psi = phi psi + f, phi(tt) - phi(xx) + phi + lambda phi(t) = -Re psi(x) + g, psi(x, 0) = psi(0)(x), phi(x, 0) = phi(0)(x), phi(t)(x, 0) = phi(1)(x), lim x ->+/-infinity psi(x, t) = lim x ->+/-infinity phi(x, t) = 0, t > 0, where x is an element of R, kappa > 0, alpha > 0, lambda > 0. First, the existence, uniqueness and continuity of the solutions on the initial data are proved. Then the asymptotic compactness of the solutions and the existence of a global compact attractor are shown. (C) 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. en
