heal.abstract |
The method of initial rise, as used for the determination of activation energies in thermoluminescence and thermally stimulated depolarisation currents, may result in energy values which are significantly lower than the correct ones if the levels of signal used are higher than a few per cent of the peak height. An expression is derived which gives the corrections to be added to the energy values found in this way. |
