A procedure is described for linearizing peaks of thermoluminescence or other thermally stimulated processes recorded with hyperbolic heating, when a general order of kinetics of the form dn/dt equals equals minus const multiplied by (times) n**y exp( minus E/kT) is assumed. In this way both the activation energy E and the order of kinetics y are determined directly, using the whole linearized peak. |
