A new switch-mode rectifier (SMR) topology has been developed and presented in this paper. Its advantages over other SMR topologies include: high input power factor, minimum input current distortion, elimination of dc link bus electrolytic capacitors, and minimization of switching stresses of high-frequency inverter stage components. |
