heal.abstract |
A three-dimensional (and hence also fully-triaxial) finite-element model is presented for the non-linear analysis of concrete structures. Following a thorough review and discussion of the various material and procedural factors known to affect such models, those parameters for which not sufficient evidence is currently available are investigated through an objectivity study. It is on the basis of the conclusions drawn from the latter that a model with 'constant' parameters may be proposed, the generality of which will be reported in a subsequent publication. |
