The power generation increase of a small run-of-river powerplant in Greece refers in this instance to the 10 MW Louros powerplant in Western Greece. Although, the reservoir was designed with a useful capacity of 0.37 million cubic meters of water, in the 38-year long period of reservoir operation, the available capacity today has almost dropped to zero, and the powerplant operates as a run-of-river installation. |
