heal.abstract | Recent advances in single cell and single channel recording techniques have lead to the generation of more accurate descriptions of cardiac muscle cell ion channel kinetics and the development of a new mathematical model of its action potential, the Luo and Rudy model. In order to study the propagation, effects of drugs by spatial simulations, it is first necessary to develop a means to control some characteristics of action potential given by this model.
