This paper presents a study of the spin reorientation of Nd0.5Pr0.5Co4Ga and Nd0.5Er0.5Co4Ga by magnetic measurements. Their spin reorientation temperatures are 227 and 165 K respectively. The magnetic dilution of Co sublattice by Ga reduces considerably the Curie point of the corresponding RCo5 compounds but it does not seem to affect the spin reorientation temperature of the former compound with respect to NdCo5 while Er reduces the spin reorientation of NdCo5 considerably. The obtained results are compared with other results of relative compounds given in the literature. © 1995. |
