heal.abstract | Diagnostic information about atherosclerosis, is extracted by developing a generalized algorithm applied to wavelengths from 260 nm up to 600 nm. The analysis was done by using a general model of tissue fluorescence, relating the Excitation - Emission Matrices from different arteries, to the EEMs of the chromophores. The algorithm performs the approximation for the coefficients, mi, m,ta, mb and the relative concentrations of the chromophores are calculated and correlated to different categories of the artery. The algorithm is applied to a wide range of wavelengths and provides the possibility to extract biochemical information about the tissue. | en |
