The paper presents the architectural and implementation issues of an autonomous robotic system for car disassembly and recycling. The system is able to operate in unstructured environments and in the absence of design and manufacturing descriptions, only with a generic model of car components, guided by multiple sensors and using neural networks. The project's overall objective is the automation of car disassembly processes. |
