In this paper we illustrate new kinds of load cells and torque meters based on the properties of soft magnetic materials. The proposed sensors are based on the magnetostrictive delay line (MDL) technique as well as the magneto-inductive (MI) principle. The obtained results show a monotonic and unhysteretic response of the corresponding kinds of sensors. |
