Hadfield steels are austenitic-manganese steels, widely known for their high working capacity, their good wear resistance, but they are mostly known for their outstanding toughness, which turns them adequate candidates for impact loading applications, such as earthmoving equipment, railway components etc. However, their behaviour in cyclic loading is less examined. In the present study, an attempt was made to determine the cyclic properties of ZI20M I 2 Hadfield steels, of various grain sizes. |
