Summary form only given. In this paper we report the demonstration of a simple, totally fiber-pigtailed, actively mode-locked laser source, generating 10 simultaneously synchronized wavelength channels, each at 10 GHz, producing as short as 21 ps pulses. The laser ring cavity is composed entirely of fiber-pigtailed devices. Gain is provided by a 500 μm, bulk InGaAsP/InP ridge waveguide SOA with |
