The purpose of this paper is to examine appropriate areas in the banking sector, which will benefit by the use of the mobile agent technology. Agent suitability is studied based on a classification of banking processes according to operational and strategic criteria. Banking services and processes are described and their susceptibility to mechanisation and improvement by using the agent technology is examined. |
