heal.abstract	This paper investigates the problem of the absence of the state variables discontinuities of a linear time-invariant (LTI) system in the presence of singular inputs. Necessary and sufficient conditions are given for this absence of state variables discontinuities. These conditions may be useful for many practical problems. An attempt is also made to find a general solution to the above problem. Numerical examples illustrate the theoretical results.	en
