heal.abstract It is believed that chemiluminescence (CL) of photolyzed aromatic compounds proceeds in alkaline media and in the presence of oxygen, with various reactive oxygen species (ROS). In order to prove this hypothesis we have investigated the contribution of chemically produced ROS, such as hydroxyl radicals, singlet oxygen as well as superoxide radical anions on CL reactions of photolyzed aromatic compounds. en
