A discussion on a method based on the Radon transform for three-dimensional elastodynamic problems of moving loads was presented. The solution technique was based on the use of Radon transform and element of distribution theory. The method exploited auxiliary solutions for the corresponding plain-strain and anti-plain shear problems. The solutions obtained were exact and results were presented over the entire speed range. |
