heal.abstract |
Nowadays, the major argument against the use of dry abrasive blast cleaning focuses on its poor environmental compliance. The research work presented herein was the first of the kind ever to be conducted in Greece, and included the comparative examination of a number of alternative surface preparation methods and abrasives, on the basis of an integrated evaluation procedure. The results produced are in favor of the ""best method for the job"" approach, and advanced environmental protection has been taken into primary consideration. |
