This paper proposes a theoretical comparison between the operational functionalities of a R31 track and a UIC54 track, both laid on the standard gauge Railway line of Peloponneso. This comparison is based on the application of the theoretical analysis of the mechanical and thermal stress state defined in ZIMMERMANN, EISENMANN and MEIER researches and becomes manifest through the verification of the vertical subsidence and the lateral displacement of the track frame. |
