Many organizations in both the public and private sector have launched initiatives to develop methodologies and tools to support entrepreneurship and management of innovation in business. Strategic and organizational changes applied in business should take into account the challenge of the new knowledge economy. Companies should tend to focus especially on techniques in the areas of project management, business plan development, outsourcing and benchmarking. The technological modernization of enterprises occurs mainly in the market of incorporated technology and innovation has a more commercial than technological content. The perception that henceforth dominates the European Union is that investment in research and technology is an absolute necessity in order for European economy to become, not simply competitive but very competitive up to 2010. The new policy of the European Union is directed to the increase of economic contribution of the private sector and enterprises in financing the work for research and technological development. |
