heal.abstract The European PLAY project aims at defining a federated-open-trusted platform able to deal with events emitted by any device. That platform should be able to combine a publish/subscribe mechanism with complex event processing in order to use the huge amount of produced events as a shared knowledge. The PLAY platform may so be able to (i) inform users (or devices) with relevant events and (ii) suggest appropriate behaviors to users (or devices). In the context of city logistics, such platform could be useful to deal with vehicles' itinerary and priority management. © 2012 IEEE. en
