dc.description.abstract	Σε αυτή τη διπλωματική εργασία με αφορμή έρευνα στον χώρο του συνδιασμένου κύκλου ηλεκτροπαραγωγής με αεριοποίηση κατασκευάστηκε ένα αριθμητικό μοντέλο για την προσομοίωση της διαδικασίας της αεριοποίησης άνθρακα, που λαμβάνει χώρα σε αεριοποιητή παρασυρόμενης ροής σε συνθήκες υψηλής θερμοκρασίας και πίεσης και προβλέπονται τα προϊόντα και οι βασικές μεταβλητές της διαδικασίας.	el
dc.description.abstract	This diploma thesis intends to create a numerical model that will simulate the coal gasification process of coal particles inside an entrained flow gasifier in conditions of high temperature (up to 1800° C) and pressure (up to 50 bar). The results of a model like that can be used to predict the products of the gasification process so that we can determine the benefits of using this technology in applications that will be in the first line of energy production from coal, in the next decade, such as the Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle.	en
