This paper presents the study for the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system of the Hellenic Gas Pipeline which has been implemented in corporation with GENER S.A. and DEPA, at the Mobile Communications Laboratory (Mob Comms. Lab), of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). The project includes radio propagation studies, field measurements and final system design. The results of the measurements indicate a large deviation from existing propagation models due to the complicated rural environment in Greece. |
