This paper presents a Ray Tracing Algorithm that can be used in Urban Environment for land Mobile Satellite Systems. The basic characteristics are simplicity and fast processing time. The principle of the algorithm is to reduce the rays to be checked via a geometrical method. The algorithm can be used for several scenarios of the mobile vicinity and satellite constellation. An improvement of the Algorithm is also proposed and performed for a certain area. © 1999 IEEE. |
