heal.abstract	Various issues regarding the management of geotechnics in Egnatia Motorway, a mega-project in Greece, were discussed. For storing, handling and fast and easy display of the large amount of geotechnical data, a particular application of Geographical information system (GIS) was presented. It is found that connection of GeoGIS with the geotechnical instrument monitoring database was important during operation and maintenance.	en
