The extensive application of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) has enabled the representation of distribution systems in more detail, for optimum operation and planning purposes. Though, the analysis requirements became more complex because of the constantly increasing number of small, dispersed generation units. This paper presents a method for the optimum planning, sizing and routing of a Medium voltage (MV) radial network and the corresponding algorithm. |
