heal.abstract	An increasingly important component in modern power systems is the induction machine. The effect of motor characteristics in the electomechanical oscillations between syn-chronous generators is not yet fully investigated. This paper pre-sents a linear model for the modal analysis of multimachine sys-tems, where aggregate induction motor loads dominate in some areas and induction generators contribute significant amounts of electric energy in some others. © 2003 IEEE.	en
