heal.abstract |
The autonomous operation of micro-grids is a very promising function in terms of reliability and power quality. The micro-grid is an all-electronic inertia less system and its isolated operation is based on the control of the inverters that connect storage devices and micro-sources of regulated output to the L.V. grid. The inverter control has to ensure the stability of the system following any disturbance and the transition to a new steady state in a specified manner. The integration of the micro-sources in a predominantly resistive grid, such as the L.V. network, entails certain implications in the design. In this work, the micro-grid control is investigated employing conventional control techniques such as the root locus and the frequency domain analysis. © 2007 IEEE. |
