heal.abstract |
In this paper, we propose novel implementation ideas for service platforms in emerging heterogeneous wireless networks. We focus on the characteristics that service platforms for B3G (Beyond 3G) environments should exhibit and describe a structured and analytical methodology for building such platforms. The validity of this methodology is further established by applying it to the case of the IST-MOTIVE system. This case study not only justifies the platform development methodology presented here, but also allows researchers to further develop innovative services and applications based on the MOTIVE system. |
